The DOCK is a school-aged program that provides kids with a safe haven after school and during summer break. The program is designed to offer a wide range of learning and recreational experiences that promote academic achievement, emotional and social learning, skill-building and community engagement. At the DOCK, kids get to unwind and have fun in a nurturing and structured environment. They also gain access to academic support, health and wellness programming, life skills development, Christian guidance, and other enrichment activities.
The Greater Heights Apartments offers affordable housing opportunities based on income and household needs like accessible units for seniors and persons with disabilities. In a joint collaboration with the City of Melbourne, Brevard County and resident leaders, Neighbor Up Brevard was able to spearhead a community development project aimed at transforming the Kennedy Street Apartments into Greater Heights - a safe, vibrant and affordable place for families and seniors to call home.
Gifts From the Heart Christmas Shop is a joint partnership program that understands that families, including those of very modest means, prefer to provide for themselves rather than accept a handout. Gifts From the Heart Christmas Shop offers a dignity-affirming affordable Christmas shopping opportunity to the families served by Neighbor Up Brevard and a coalition of local nonprofits that join together each year to administer the Gifts From the Heart Christmas Shop.
